  I am going to call my insurance company during my lunch break today to request to switch my gyno from Colgrove to another, hopefully more professional, dr/dr's office. I was diagnosed by the dr and asked to call back a couple of days after my appointment/diagnosis. When I called back, I was told to call back next week. When I called next week, i was told the exact same thing. I eventually lost my cool and asked to please speak to the dr. especially because he diagnosed me, but didn't give me a prescription or even explanation as to what I had and what it meant for my future. Needless to say, to this day have not spoken to the doctor about my diagnosis and his office has not listened to my requests to specifically speak with the dr. I even asked if I had to come in to meet face to face. I got quick, nonchalant responses from someone (receptionist? nurse?) about my condition which I found very disturbing. I'm sure they are a busy office, but the dr. and his staff should remember that they are dealing with human lives here. I find it to be very unethical to diagnose someone, not explain to them their condition, and not to give them a prescription. I am only left with confusion, saddness, and most of all, anger. I absolutely would never recommend this dr or his office, not even to my most hated enemies.
